Since Donald is so young and doesn't fully understand all of what is happening to him, I hope to one day to have all of the leukemia posts from my blog printed as a "memory book" of this journey. Hopefully it will be something that will help him make sense of his experience with cancer as he grows older.
I also want to make sure that the comments and notes of encouragement that you have sent our way are not lost. Some of you have made comments that were exactly the heaven-sent words I needed to read at exactly the right time! There have been times where I've re-read comments multiple times because they were so cheerful/encouraging/uplifting to me.
I've got a few pictures and stories that I have not shared so I hope to get on the ball and get them posted soon! Sometimes technology can be a bother, but right now I'm thankful to have a blog to help me organize my thoughts as we walk this road.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have this to organize your thoughts. I think we all need it. Blogs are neat that way, pictures and words altogether making a memory. I'm not good at scrapbooking, I never seem to find the time to make another mess in the house, blogging is a great alternative! My life is slowing down, thankfully, so I will be back blogging and blog hopping! Ann, you inspire me. I know you aren't supermom or anything like that, but you are an amazing person and an amazing Mom. Your kids and husband are lucky to have you.
