Our First Piano Recital

Mirror and McGyver have been taking piano lessons for about 5 months. The Lord has really blessed, because fitting piano lessons into our tight single-income budget was a leap of faith. Both children love their piano teacher, she is a true master at working with children.

Their first recital was a perfect way to end our homeschool year. Another young man from our church also takes lessons from the same teacher, so we invited our church members to attend. They were so kind to give the children their support.

We are so blessed, thanks to Grandma L for giving us her piano, and thanks to Grandma M for staying with Butterbean when we go to lessons!

There is one danger to having children taking piano lessons. You will find yourself constantly humming whatever piece they are practicing!

How sweet! One day I hope to have the kids take piano. Wonderful you were able to do it and it worked out so well:)

Piano has been a blessing in our family too. God has a weird way of providing for us far more than we van ever dream or ask for.
By the way your not the only one who humms the kids piano pieces all day long.
I love having the house filled with the sounds of music everyday.

Our kids are older, and play for church, and melodies fill our home when they sit down at the piano...it is such a blessing!!!
